The first time writing this article is 19 May 2025. I have still not finished mapping each one of the 56 Vinayak Temples of Varanasi. But I am getting close. One of the most enjoyable experience of Varanasi is a Ghat Walk. It is a walking pathway made from Ghat No 1 to Ghat No 84 and can be completed in a period of one to three hours. If you are going to have more stops, it might even take a day. What is the best time to take a Ghat Walk? Early mornings are the best. You can enjoy the sunrise. There is a lot of activity on the various Ghats like Panchganga Ghat and Assi Ghat. During the summer months, morning time is the only time you can enjoy a ghat walk. Between the monsoon months of July to October, the ghat walk becomes impossible due to the water levels rising and flooding the ghat walk path.
